St. Mary´s School - Business in the Community
Pupils from St Mary’s Primary School in Newport were invited to the Royal Mail sorting office to show them how the mail is collected, sorted and delivered to our homes. The event was organised as part of Business in the Community, where local businesses get involved in community projects.
Capita Symonds Road Safety Officer for Newport, John Jackson and Pedestrian Training Coordinator, Catherine Levy took the opportunity to give some Road Safety advice to the pupils.
In the picture John Jackson and a group of pupils from St Mary’s discuss the dangers of crossing or playing near large vehicles.
Whereever you cross you should always make sure the driver can see you.
