Two new Junior Road Safety Officers have been appointed at Greenmeadow Primary School. They were chosen because they wrote the best application letters to Mrs Causon, the principal teacher for the scheme.
The photographs show Ellie George and Laurence Davies (Yr 6), the current Junior Road Safety Officers; and Emma Lewis and Jordan Lane (Yr 5) their "apprentices".
One of their first projects will be to launch a bright day on 27 November, where all children in the school will be invited to dress in VERY bright and colourful clothing all day. They will be running a raffle to win high visibility items and a competition to raise money to help pay for the yard to be marked up for cycle training.
