Henllys Church in Wales Primary school is the latest to get involved with the Junior Road Safety Officer scheme in Torfaen.
Four children, two from Yr6 and two from Yr5, were chosen after applying for the job by filling in an application form before the Christmas holidays.
The JRSOs role will be to understand and improve road safety for the pupils in their school. The group are very keen and enthusiastic to get started and will be officially welcomed into the scheme at an all school assembly in the near future by Kate Kerr the Road Safety Officer for Torfaen.
