Horseriders

Riding a horse on the public road in today’s traffic conditions can be potentially very hazardous. It is important to try and make the situation as safe as possible for the rider, horse and car drivers alike. Riders should be fully aware of the Highway Code and how it affects them before they venture out on the road and wherever possible try to avoid busy roads or situations that may result in the horse becoming startled and distressed.
