When we went on our cycle trip to Magor Marsh we left at 9:30 It was 13 miles altogether. Before we started our trip Mr. Jones checked our bikes, and fixed some of them. Then we walked our bikes to the castle. Soon we started riding to Mitel roundabout, then headed to go through the rocky marshes by our public train station, Caldicot.
We travelled to Rogiet Bridge where we had the opportunity to see the rush of traffic on the Seven Bridge. Then soon we stopped for a break at the river. We had a rest for about 10 minutes then we sat on the rocks and took photos by the estuary. Then soon we headed off again, and then finally we reached Magor Marsh and had lunch. When we got there we were exhausted then we did reen dipping and Tess’ net got caught in the weeds. We caught baby leaches and other water creatures. After we had a lot of fun we emptied the creatures back into the reen. When we got back to the main room and looked at some of the interesting creatures we had caught under a microscope.
We were all ready to go and then Marcus noticed that he had flat tyre! We fixed the tyre using a bucket of water and Marcus’ repair kit, then we put on our safety jackets and hats and started to ride back to school. And then finally we got back to school at 4:20 we were totally worn out. We hope you appreciate our letter Yours sincerely Kieran and Gabrielle
