Tufty Goes on Holiday

As we have had such nice weather lately, Tufty decided to go on holiday. He packed his red spotted hanky, slung it over his shoulder and left. His destination was Scotland to attend a Road Safety Village show. He was a bit nervous and there was a lot of pressure to please the crowds, but he was professional to the last and went on his way.

The transport was his first obstacle. He was put in the back of a transit van. “Oh dear” he thought, “how am I going to cope with this, I get travel sick and I haven’t got one of my special disposable bags!”
Nevertheless he struggled through it and the Scottish Borders beckoned.

Well, his initial concern was unfounded because he was greeted with open arms. Everyone in the Road Safety Team was so nice and he felt right at home! He met lots of lovely people and he made one special friend in particular called Spike he is a hedgehog and is a valued member of their Road Safety Team.

Tufty has now returned with lots of photographs and a cracking tan to boot!

He had a great time and looks forward to seeing them all again, especially Spike!
