One of the Winning 2008 Posters
The Poster Competition is an annual event that is jointly organised by Heddlu Gwent Police and the Road Safety Team at Capita Symonds. This year the theme is “Anti Drink Driving”.
There are separate first prizes of £100 each for the best junior and senior entries, as well as two runner up prizes of £50 in each category. The competition is open to all young people in Gwent. This year the school attended by the winner in each category will receive £50.
The rules are very simple:
1. The poster should convey a message about the risks of drink driving.
2. The poster should be on one piece of paper or card and not more than A3 size.
3. Name, age and school address to be written on the back of each entry in block capitals.
4. All work must be original with no trade names, logos etc.
5. Closing date is strictly Friday 06 November 2009

There will be a prize evening at County Hall, Cwmbran in late November. Parents must be aware that photos will be taken for publicity purposes.
