We told you about this website back in February, and as promised, a resource pack is now available.
‘Don’t Be That Someone’ aims to inform young people aged 14-18 years about the dangers and consequences of drink driving.
The campaign resource pack includes a documentary featuring the family and friends of a young man who was killed by a drink driver, a young woman who was seriously injured in a drink drive accident, a ‘vox pops’ video showing how little young people really know about the dangers of drink driving, three lesson plans that fit within the national curriculum, and interactive leaflets.
The pack also investigates issues including peer pressure, the responsibility of passengers and the after effects of causing serious injury or death, including the possible consequences for families and the wider community.
To watch the video or for more information visit the ‘Don’t Be That Someone’ website or contact Mike McAdam on 07972 463 161.
